Upon arrival, the staffer was distant, not welcoming at all - I actually felt ignored for a minute or two. There was confusion regarding me receiving a quote for planned procedures. After several weeks I reached out to Diana P via phone, but never received a call back. After more time I sent an email during the 3rd week of August and then got a response that the information had been sent in mid July. However, there had been no follow up in between. The quotes I ultimately did receive were hand written, which seemed strange....

The staff at the front desk are always kind and James has always been attentive since the first time I ever scheduled. Dr. Assil is a busy man and sometimes you can feel that energy. I like consistent service and have met with Dr. Assil a few times over the years. I hope that he will continue to have consistent service for each patient including myself each time. Thank you!

After leaving I realized it all went smoothly, almost assembly line conveyor belt smoothly. I didn’t exactly feel rushed, but it was like a machine.

Coming from out of town for surgery can be stressful, but Dr. Gaur and his team made everything easy and reassuring. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.

Having worked for Dr. Assil years ago, I consider him to be the best cataract specialist in the world, and a fabulous general ophthalmologist, with an excellent team of associate doctors and specialists. We travel from Arizona to see Dr. Assil. I recommend him to all of our friends. It doesn't cost more for the best!

I was impressed with Dr. Assil's office and staff. With that said, I will not move forward with Dr. Assil's services because I prefer an opthamologist who doesn't begrudge me only wanting the barebones cataract removal without the upsell of pricey lenses. I appreciate how efficient and friendly everyone is, however.

Trouble contacting someone to renew prescription of eye drops when I ran out after discussing it in week follow up appointment. Wasn’t sent when they said they would send it during that appointment.

I really appreciate the time and attention you get when you come to see Dr Assil. I know he is a very busy and world renowned doctor yet always takes the time to answer any questions. I never feel rushed out of there. That’s not an experience you get everywhere in doctor’s offices these days. Thank you!

I still have not been informed about the findings from the multitude of tests which were performed. I have an appointment to see another doctor later this month.

Dr Assil is a very caring and thorough doctor. He did not rush the appointment and made sure that I understood everything that he told me about my eye condition.

The level of care and customer service I experienced made me feel as if I was part of the celebrity clientele in the walls’ pictures. Scheduling my appointment was simple, despite the fact I am based in another state (Mr. James is awesome). All of my questions were answered, and I was seen promptly by the team. I could tell the doctors and nurses were busy with others during my visit, but I never felt rushed or ignored, since multiple people checked on me and reassured the safety and efficacy of the procedure. On top of that, the recovery instructions were thorough, and I appreciated the convenience of picking up my prescriptions from literally across the street. Overall, I had an amazing time and would recommend the institute to anyone and everyone. Thank you.

I am grateful with Dr. Kerry Assil and his professional team for always making me feel as an important patient. They do care! I was diagnosed with Keratoconus after struggling with vision since my early teens that progressively got worse. Reading was quite a struggle because wearing glasses felt like a magnet pull, causing me great discomfort. I wore different types of contacts and overtime, they were no longer tolerable, until one day, I was told they could no longer measure my eyes for contacts. Dr. Kerry Assil saved my eyes in the beginning of 2000s. As mentioned, my options then were unfavorable until I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Assil. Mind you that I had seen many other Ophthalmologists but none compared to Dr. Assil’s expertise. I literally trusted him with my eyes as I was losing hope, but 26 years later, I still have an almost perfect vision. No glasses, contacts or other foreign objects to see better. I must also state that team effort is highly important, because you have to do your due diligence as instructed, if you truly care about your precious eyes. Forever Grateful ~ Liliana

I feel very fortunate to have my eye surgery with Dr. Assil. The precision in everything he and the Institute do is very comforting. The selection of the best IOLs for my eyes, after they discovered a small retina issue in my right eye that nobody else caught, was amazing. I am actually looking forward to my surgery, something I don't think I have ever felt before!
